Shoot day!!

This day was so much fun! All of the models and I drove to this little town called Cairo, Georgia! We met Mr. Craig, the owner of Chambless Gametotes, at this property called Longleaf Hill. This place is sooo pretty and you should definitely check it out!! They take hunters out on quail hunts and even have a lodge for you to stay. The first time I heard about it was about a year or two ago, my parents wanted to go horseback riding for their anniversary. This property offered that and they had so much fun. Mr. Craig lives in a town nearby, so that is where I got the idea to do the shoot there. I reached out to the owners of the land and they approved.

So we all met on a very hot Sunday, in the middle of July! We had about 5 models, girls and boys. They brought all of their different camo and outfits and Mr. Craig got to work giving them products to model. We started with upland hunting. The models put on their orange gear and grabbed their guns and product and we got to take the big buggy (that they use for hunts), and we headed out to the woods! After taking photos of the upland hunting line of products we headed to the next part of the property. All of the models changed into their camo and now we were on to the waterfowl hunting line of products. We drove over to a pond on the property. The models hopped in their camo and waders and we got some shots of them and the dogs. Remember when I said a HOT Sunday?? Yah the dogs loveddd it and it was so cute and were some of my favorite photos of them splashing around in the water. After shooting that line, we headed back to the front property and wrapped up with all of the models!

Now the models had left, but it was time for me to take some product photography! On top of doing a product/catalog shoot, I also updated Mr. Craig's website for him. I took photos of all of the products on a white backdrop so once I got home I could use photoshop to cut each product out, so it would look crisp and clean on the catalog tab of his website.
